Nice little pitstop while cycling around Rutland Water.. I treated my mate to some ice-cream, as we decided to cycle 26 miles on the hottest day of the year.. 🥵🥵🥵. Service was nice and friendly. Ice-cream was lovely. Thank you 👍🏼

It's nice to have a coffee shop like this in a park where a lot of cyclists and families come around to spend time together. My fiancé bought an ice cream in their shop and it was delicious though it gets easily melted. I haven't tasted their coffee, however it does not taste bad as per my fiancé. Lots of people were there too. I think they should extend the hours just for the summer season. 😊

Came before 3pm to expect a coffee and they were closed. Even though Google maps says they're open until 3pm. Update your hours

Good Pit stop when walking by the lake. Now run by anglia water. Decent tea, fair range of things on offer. Outside seating only.

Pleased cafe was open on a Monday in November at Rutland Water. Outside seating only. Limited menu. We enjoyed freshly made filled rolls, coffee and fruit tea.

Terrible coffee. Stopped for three coffees, two pieces of cake and an ice cream neither adult finished the cakes, and all three thought the coffee was awful. Swapped for tea/hot choc, much cheaper but no refund offered. Tea not really made properly but at least was drinkable. Hot chocolate was ok. Generally a bit tired decor, slightly grubby - outside tables rickety and dirty. A real shame. Good points were that the location is good, the people nice and they had water for dogs.

Stopped for an ice cream after cycling around the reservoir. Friendly folk with a good selection on the board but sadly many were out of stock.

They will sell you Lilt and bacon once you return from riding round the lake, therefore providing an essential service. I am convinced I would have died if they had not been open. Surprisingly good chips. Within crawling distance of bike hire shop which is a bonus not to be underestimated.

I was pleasantly surprised and the food was all good. Bacon & Brie/sausage rolls were good. The pre made sandwiches used really good ingredients. The in house 99 I've creams were very nice - very vanilla ice cream, not just the average plain milk. I wasn't very taken by the coffee - I think the machine needs a refresh or some new beans.
